Methodology of analysis of directive speech acts in English and Arabic academic discourse

چکیده

This article presents the author's methodology for analyzing directive speech acts in English and Arabic academic discourse, developed during writing of dissertation research. The purpose is to describe confirm effectiveness within framework two discourses. In addition substantiating choice research methods respondent groups, a written discursive test with situational examples on basis classification by J. Serle (1979). We propose study from point view grammatical, cultural, social lexical aspects. this an attempt comparative aspect discourse functioning Arabic. novelty lies fact that earlier Russian foreign linguistics, no attempts were made develop perspective conclusion, author makes conclusion about proposed method analysis, also notes prospects further topic. results can be used compilation methodological complexes teaching as well courses analysis higher educational institutions.
